Outlook unread count not updating
So, to get this feature back on Oreo and later updates, you have to use a bunch of apps from the Play Store, which gets you this feature, and a lot more. Well, you may have to wait for Samsung to fix it via a software update (see latest updates for the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Note 8). Outlook shows the message “we didn’t find anything to show here.” when looking in a folder that shows unread items. However, the number does not plus the numbers of unread items in subfolders. But sometimes you just need to know the total number of unread items including subfolders, and how?You can uncheck them with right clicking any folder and selecting Uncheck All from the context menu. And then you will see the total number of all unread items in the specified folder and its subfolders display at the top of the second Statistics dialog box.
When a new message arrives in the IMAP Inbox, the unread message count does not increment and the Inbox label does not change to bold. I have to manually check the IMAP inbox to see if new messages arrived. After that, restart Outlook, accept created certificate as trusted and the macro should run on every send/recieve.

A solution/hack to this problem: Replace "Inbox at [email protected]" with whatever is the name of the imap inbox folder (oh, and the folder must be in Favorites group..you'll have to change the macro to compensate).
This is inconvenient since I leave the Exchange Inbox open to watch new mail from the Exchange server. Do you wonder if your IT business is truly profitable or if you should raise your prices?
@Wacky M When I start Outlook, I get this error as well when it tried to compile the macro to run it.
I was just uding the Debug menu item Compile Project1 to reproduce the error and try and troubleshoot. The only type that I even see in mine which contains the word Navigation is the ol Navigation Pane which is part of ol Pane.
