Updating multiple tables microsoft access single parent dating conda idaho
This is where I get totally lost and confused though.
Title) In ("DP","Dealer Principal"))); However, when I try to run it, I get a message that says "Operation must use an updateable query".
Otherwise the Help doesn't mention the multiple fields but give the general info.
UPDATE Statement Creates an update query that changes values in fields in a specified table based on specified criteria.
many thanks George Hi George, Firstly, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you with Access, it looks easy, but it's the work of the devil...!
That aside, I had a play with your structure and re-worked it to; t_Department: (PK)Department_ID - Department t_Staff: (PK)Staff_ID - First_Name - Last_Name, (FK)Department_ID, (FK)Salary_ID t_Salary: (PK)Salary_ID - Salary Amount Based on the theory that; 1 Dept can have many staff, 1 Salary amount can be associated to many different staff.
I'm setting up my first Access database and have come across a problem I can't seem to answer with online HELP.
